10 Years From Now...

I'm ready for life. I've set my goals. I'm 13 now and soon I'll reach my goals. I'll be keeping a good grade point average, passing the entree exam to Trinity, and soon I'll be graduating from there with a great SAT score while being valedictorian. I will be doing that just by staying focus, studying, and having zero distractions. I have goals that can change my whole life and I'm just a 13 year old.
In 10 years, would have gone from being 13 years old to 23 years old. I will still be in college attending DePaul University. I see myself Studying Law and English Literature. I'll be living in my own little, affordable apartment near campus, while having a good paying job to pay for it all. It won't be easy to get to that place without determination and that's something that I got. I'll be there walking the streets of downtown Chicago or somewhere beautiful like Barcelona, just taking in life. I'll be happy because I will know that I did it all on my own.
I have multiple passions. I want a job that I love and can wake up every morning not feeling like its a burden. I hope that what do will have something to do with dance, but know that what you want does not always happen as planned. I have another job that I would love to do and that is being a detective  after studying law in graduate school. I want to take either of those careers and change people's lives. I know that feeling of that just stays on your shoulders, adding more weight than necessary. I know those times when you just want someone to stand up for you and be on your side. No matter what career I choose on having, I'm going to make something out of it.
I have dreams and aspirations. I have dreams past 10 years. I see myself traveling to Barcelona or Venice, taking photographs of everything beautiful and interesting that I see. I'll be traveling to places in need of help and I'll be there rebuilding the communities, hoping to shine a light through its brokenness. I'll be thirty in a couple years then forty, but a day won't go by without a dream I haven't fulfilled. You will walk the streets if any place all over the world and when you look around you will see a building. That building is a business unlike any kind. This business gives children with disabilities or foster care kids a place to feel wanted. It will give them a place to make friends without feeling ashamed. I would hopefully be standing there, next to that building with my family. I have goals for 10 years and past that. I will reach my goals and shine afterwards.
